Chiniot – Report by Bureau Chief Punjab, Malik Maqsood Chinioti

On the directions of Punjab Inspector General of Police, Dr. Usman Anwar, practical measures are being taken to equip police offices with modern facilities for the convenience of citizens.

District Police Officer (DPO) Abdullah Ahmed visited the DSP City office as part of an inspection. During the visit, he reviewed the building, ongoing renovation work, and also inspected official records.

The DPO instructed supervisory officers to play their role in ensuring better public service delivery and conducting investigations strictly on merit.

He stated that police offices across the district are being renovated in line with modern requirements to enhance citizen facilities. He further emphasized that all necessary steps are being taken to ensure efficient public service delivery and timely provision of justice.

According to DPO Abdullah Ahmed, citizens are being provided with a conducive environment in police offices and stations to access police services with ease.
