Chiniot – The Punjab Enforcement and Regulatory Authority (PERA) Force carried out a successful operation in Adda Sheikhan, Tehsil Lalian, recovering 3,500 wheat bags that were being illegally hoarded inside a shop. The shop was immediately sealed on the spot.

The operation was supervised by Sub-Divisional Enforcement Officer, Muhammad Afzal, who stated that no one will be allowed to exploit the public through hoarding or artificial shortages.

He further added that, under the vision of Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz Sharif, strict actions against hoarders will continue across District Chiniot to ensure availability of essential commodities for the people at fair prices.
