Chiniot: Under the vision of Chief Minister Punjab, Ms. Maryam Nawaz Sharif, operations for a “Safe Punjab” are actively underway.

In a major action led by SHO Bhowana Police Station, Sub-Inspector Rizwan Ali, along with his team, two members of a transformer theft gang were arrested. Stolen property worth millions of rupees, including transformers, electric wires, and other related equipment, was recovered.

The arrested suspects were wanted in several transformer theft cases registered at Bhowana Police Station. Investigation is ongoing, and further revelations are expected.

DPO Abdullah Ahmad emphasized that maintaining law and order and ensuring the protection of people’s lives and property remains the top priority. He further stated that a comprehensive crackdown against criminal elements continues across the district.
