Gujrat Police Arrest 4 Suspects in Murder and Attempted Murder Case

Gujrat: According to our Bureau Chief Muhammad Yousaf, Kunjah Police have arrested four suspects involved in a murder and attempted murder case.

The incident occurred on May 28, 2024, in the Kunjah area where a violent clash broke out between two groups over a land dispute. The confrontation escalated into gunfire, leaving 11 people injured and one person dead.

Police immediately registered a case and launched an investigation. On the directives of DPO Gujrat Rana Umar Farooq, a special police team was formed under the supervision of DSP Sadar Circle Ghazi Asif Ali and SHO Kunjah Inspector Syed Shiraz Haider, along with other officers.

Through targeted raids at different locations, the police successfully arrested four suspects:

  1. Ihsanullah, son of Muhammad Shafi
  2. Kamran, son of Muhammad Munir
  3. Yasir, son of Muhammad Munir, resident of Kunjah
  4. Ehtisham, son of Ghulam Hussain, resident of Gujranwala

Police confirmed that efforts are underway to arrest the remaining suspects involved in the case.
