An important meeting of the Union Council Polio Eradication Committee was held at the Maryam Nawaz Health Clinic, Muslim Kot. The session was chaired by Union Council Monitoring Officer Rana Muhammad Mushtaq.
Prominent participants included Union Council Secretary Suhail Mumtaz Shahani, former Chairman Syed Zulfiqar Ali Shah, Head Teacher Malik Sajjad Raza, Imam of Mahajireen Mosque Hafiz Muhammad Danial, former Council Member Hafiz Liaqat Ali Rana, and Health Manager Maryam Nawaz Health Clinic along with the Health Department staff.
The meeting began with the recitation of the Holy Quran.
Addressing the participants, Rana Muhammad Mushtaq announced the schedule for the upcoming Polio Round (NID) to be held from October 13 to October 16, 2025.
During this campaign, 41 mobile teams of the Health Department will go door-to-door, administering polio drops to children under the age of five.
He urged all community members and institutions to actively spread awareness about the campaign and to fully cooperate with the health teams to ensure the success of the eradication effort.
At the conclusion, Rana Muhammad Mushtaq expressed gratitude to all participants for their attendance and support in the noble cause of eradicating polio.
