Islamabad: The Capital Development Authority (CDA) has carried out a major reshuffle involving 18 officers of Grade 20 and Grade 19, while seven officers have been directed to report to the Human Resource Directorate (HRD).
According to sources, the transfers and postings affect key departments including Environment, Land Rehabilitation, Structure, Building Control, Roads, Maintenance, and Water Supply.
Officials stated that officers who have been instructed to report to HRD will await further posting orders.
Sources within CDA revealed that officers currently serving on deputation hold significant influence within the authority. Despite being junior in seniority, several deputation officers have been posted over senior officers, raising concerns among the staff.
The reshuffle has sparked discussions within CDA circles regarding administrative priorities and the growing dominance of deputation officers in key positions.
