Mardan:
SP City Mardan Maria Mustafa has formally assumed charge of her office and announced strict measures to curb crime across the city, declaring a zero-tolerance policy against drug dealers, land grabbers, and other criminal elements.
Speaking on the occasion, she made it clear that indiscriminate action will be taken against all criminals without exception, adding that there will be no safe haven for unlawful elements in Mardan.
The SP City emphasized that cases involving women and children will be handled on a priority basis. She stated that practical steps will be taken to make police stations safer, more secure, and more welcoming for women and children seeking help.
She further assured that sensitive cases such as women harassment and domestic violence will receive immediate attention and effective legal action to ensure justice for victims.
Maria Mustafa encouraged citizens to approach the police without hesitation for the resolution of their issues. She reiterated that Mardan Police is “the people’s police” and will work closely with the community to eliminate crime from the city.
Delivering a clear message to criminal elements, she warned that they must either abide by the law or be prepared to face strict legal consequences.
