SDPO/DSP Sarfraz Butt of Sabzi Mandi Circle has initiated strict action against illegal vehicle stands operating at Mandi Mor in Islamabad.

According to details, the illegal bus and wagon stands established at Mandi Mor have become a major cause of traffic congestion and frequent road accidents. Due to these unauthorized terminals, accidents and unpleasant incidents are being reported regularly in the area.

Sources revealed that these illegal stands are also contributing to a rise in criminal activities. Criminal elements, including proclaimed offenders, are allegedly using these stands for easy travel without proper checks. Furthermore, passenger lists are not being registered at local police stations through the required app system, raising serious security concerns.

SDPO/DSP Sarfraz Butt stated that if these illegal stands do not cease operations immediately, the police will intensify their crackdown and continue strict legal action against those involved.
