RAWALPINDI – In a significant move to maintain the sanctity of the holy month of Ramadan, the New Town Police conducted a successful raid on a local brothel, resulting in the arrest of several individuals involved in immoral activities.
The Operation
Acting on a tip-off, a police team led by SHO Atif Sattar and ASI Mohsin targeted a premises in the National Market, B-Block area. The location was reportedly being used as a hub for illegal activities and drug peddling.
During the raid, police caught the suspects red-handed. A total of six individuals, including three men and three women, were taken into custody.
Legal Action and Charges
The authorities have formally registered Case No. 596/26 against the accused. The charges include violations of the following sections of the Pakistan Penal Code:
- 371-A & 371-B (Prostitution-related offenses)
- 216 (Harbouring offenders)
- 294 (Obscene acts and songs)
Following the initial investigation, the culprits have been sent to Adiala Jail on judicial remand.

The SP Rawal and the SDPO New Town expressed their satisfaction with the operation, encouraging the officers to continue their crackdown on vice dens and drug dealers to ensure a peaceful environment for citizens.
