Chiniot (Asia Citizen News): According to a report by Punjab Bureau Chief Malik Maqsood Chinioti, practical steps are being taken in Chiniot to ensure positive behavior of police personnel toward the public, in line with the vision of Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz Sharif.
A training workshop was held at the District Police Officer (DPO) Office, where police officials were given lectures on maintaining a respectful and courteous attitude while dealing with citizens. During the session, officers were also briefed on the directives issued by the Chief Minister regarding public interaction.
The workshop was attended by senior police officers, religious scholars, and medical professionals, who delivered lectures emphasizing ethical conduct and community-oriented policing.
Police personnel were specifically instructed to greet citizens visiting police stations and offices politely, using respectful terms such as “Sir” and “Madam,” and to ensure a welcoming environment.
Officials and personnel were further directed to play an active role in projecting a positive image of the police force. District Police Officer Dr Naveed emphasized that all officers must adopt public service as their core mission and ensure respect and dignity for every citizen.
