FIA Launches Crackdown on Human Smugglers After Libya Boat Tragedy 2026, One Suspect Arrested with Rs 9.9 Million Recovered

Following the tragic Libya boat incident 2026 near the coast of Italy, the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has intensified its crackdown against human smugglers.

According to official sources, an FIA case has been registered against those involved in the illegal human trafficking network linked to the incident.

During the operation, one suspect identified as Tahir was arrested, while authorities also recovered Rs 9.9 million in cash, believed to be connected to the human smuggling racket.

The heartbreaking boat tragedy near the Italian coast claimed the lives of several Pakistani citizens, including Muhammad Iqbal Arshad, a resident of Mandi Bahauddin.

The incident has once again highlighted the dangers of illegal migration routes and the ruthless activities of human smuggling gangs, who continue to exploit innocent people seeking better opportunities abroad.

Authorities have vowed to continue strict action against all individuals involved in human trafficking and illegal migration operations.
