Rawalpindi (Malik عمران Khan Awan):
In a major crackdown against illegal gambling, Ganjmandi Police Rawalpindi conducted a successful raid under the supervision of SHO Tariq Gondal, along with Sub-Inspector Shoaib Shah and the police team.
According to details, seven gamblers were arrested while playing cards for betting money during the police action.
The police recovered Rs 134,770 in stake money, along with 10 mobile phones and wristwatches from the possession of the accused. Authorities also took four motorcycles into police custody from the spot.
Police officials stated that the arrested suspects will be challaned in court with solid evidence.
SP Rawal Saad Arshad said that individuals involved in gambling and other illegal activities cannot escape the grip of the law, reaffirming the police’s commitment to continue strict action against criminal elements in Rawalpindi.
The successful operation has been appreciated as part of Rawalpindi Police’s ongoing efforts to maintain law and order and curb social crimes in the city.
