Bureau Chief Punjab, Malik Maqsood Chinioti reports that in Chiniot, a seminar was held yesterday under the joint arrangements of Chenab Welfare Society, Paigham-e-Pakistan, and the Prime Minister’s Youth Program to mark Independence Day and the Movement for Truth.
The seminar was attended by President District Bar Mehar Maqsood Harl, Leader of District Anjuman-e-Tajran Chaudhry Asghar Jutt, President District Press Club Choudhry Shahid Mehmood, along with representatives of various institutions, social workers, journalists, lawyers, and farmers’ leader Noor-ul-Hassan Shah.
Najma Batool, President of Chenab Welfare Society, in her address, said: “Pakistan Army crushed India’s arrogance.”
Haroon Malik, Program Organizer, remarked: “After independence, the second greatest joy our nation received was when our forces humbled the traditional enemy.”
President District Bar Chiniot, Mehar Maqsood Harl, saluted the bravery of the armed forces.
President District Press Club Chiniot, Shahid Mehmood, paid rich tribute to the Pakistan Army.
Leader of Anjuman-e-Tajran, Chaudhry Asghar Jutt, said: “We are proud of our armed forces; they raised the nation’s head high in this war.”






At the end of the ceremony, a plantation activity titled “One Daughter, One Tree” was held where a young girl planted a sapling. A large number of women also actively participated in the event.
