Larkana District:
Today, at Government Primary School, WAPDA Colony Larkana, the Pak Army Zindabad Movement organized a grand celebration to mark multiple national and religious occasions, including:
- Eid Milad-un-Nabi ﷺ
- 6th September – Defence Day of Pakistan
- 7th September – PAF Day
- Youm-e-Shuhada Pakistan
Program Highlights
The program began with the recitation of the Holy Qur’an, followed by Na’at recitation in praise of the Holy Prophet ﷺ.
Children were distributed Milad sweets (Niger), and special sessions were held to educate them about the life and character of the Holy Prophet ﷺ.
Students also recited naats with devotion, creating a spiritual atmosphere.
Speeches and National Spirit
On the occasion, Khalil Ahmed Jafri addressed the audience and highlighted the significance of Defence Day, 6th September 1965:
- He said that 6th September is an unforgettable day of courage and bravery in Pakistan’s history.
- On this day in 1965, the Pakistan Army gave a crushing response to Indian aggression, writing a new chapter of valor on the global stage.
- Defence Day reminds us of the sacrifices of the martyrs who gave everything for the homeland.
Mr. Jafri further said:
“This day is not just a memory but a pledge — that we will protect Pakistan at any cost. September 6, 1965, is a golden day of our history that India can never forget. Remembering this day prevents the enemy from even thinking of direct confrontation; that is why they resort only to conspiracies. But Pakistan is always ready to give a crushing reply to such plots.”
A Day of Unity and Faith
The event beautifully combined the love for the Holy Prophet ﷺ with the spirit of patriotism, reminding everyone of the values of faith, sacrifice, and national defense.
