At the Central Police Office, a ceremony was held to decorate 54 officers promoted to the rank of Inspector. Punjab Inspector General of Police, Dr. Usman Anwar, pinned the ranks on 29 officers from Faisalabad Region, 19 from Sahiwal Region, and 6 from Sheikhupura Region.






The ceremony was attended by the parents, children, and families of the promoted officers, creating a proud and memorable atmosphere.
Addressing the gathering, IG Punjab highlighted that with the establishment of CCD, Riot Management Police, and other new units, thousands of new posts and promotions have been made possible. He further shared that the creation of the Provincial Tourism Police and the Cyber Crime Department will generate hundreds of additional posts and future promotions.
Dr. Usman Anwar emphasized: “With promotion, officers are given honor. In return, they must show the same respect to citizens and complainants through their best behavior.”
He also expressed gratitude to the Chief Minister of Punjab for the full support provided in police human resources, logistics, infrastructure, and transport facilities. The IG Punjab conveyed heartfelt thanks to the Chief Minister and the Government of Punjab for their strong patronage of Punjab Police.
