The Capital Development Authority (CDA) has issued a formal warning to officers and staff members who were directed to report to the Human Resource Directorate (HRD) but have failed to ensure their attendance.
According to official instructions, all officers and employees who have been marked as “Reported to HRD” are required to register their presence through the biometric attendance system. The HRD has made it clear that failure to comply will result in them being treated as absent, and strict departmental action will be initiated against them.
Sources revealed that nearly 25 to 30 officers and more than 97 staff members were administratively removed from their positions and instructed to report to HRD. However, a significant number among them have not been marking their attendance regularly.
Further reports indicate that the CDA is preparing lists for disciplinary proceedings against many officers and employees. These individuals are allegedly involved in various cases including:
- Prolonged absence from duty
- Corruption allegations
- Ongoing inquiries and investigations
- Illegal occupation or facilitation of encroachments on government land
- Nomination in criminal cases
Authorities suggest that strict accountability measures are being planned to address negligence and misconduct within the department.
