According to a report by Punjab Bureau Chief Malik Maqsood Chinioti, practical steps are being taken to resolve public issues in line with the vision of Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif.

In this regard, District Police Officer (DPO) Dr. Naveed Atif organized an open court (Khuli Kachehri) at the DPO Office in Chiniot to listen to the problems and complaints of citizens. During the session, the DPO personally heard the issues raised by the public and issued immediate orders for their prompt resolution.

Dr. Naveed Atif also directed the Police Complaint Cell to ensure proper follow-up and present reports after addressing the complaints of the citizens. He emphasized that the doors of his office are always open for the public and encouraged citizens to visit without hesitation or any recommendation if they have police-related concerns.

The DPO further stated that citizens can also register their complaints from home by contacting the Police Complaint Cell on number 15. He added that he personally listens to public complaints during the daily open court held in his office from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM.

Dr. Naveed Atif assured that immediate justice at the police station level is being ensured. He reiterated that maintaining law and order, ensuring equal enforcement of the law, and providing timely justice to the public will be guaranteed at all costs.
