Under the leadership of SHO Rawat Police Station, Zahid Zahoor, a police team successfully carried out an operation and arrested a drug dealer red-handed, recovering 1680 grams of hashish from his possession.

According to details, the Rawat Police team was on routine patrol on Mankiala Road when they received information from an informant regarding the presence of a drug dealer in the area. Acting promptly and with a well-planned strategy, the police team apprehended a suspect.

During the search, 1680 grams of hashish was recovered from the accused. During initial investigation, the suspect revealed that he is a resident of Misrial Road, Rawalpindi, and was present at the location to sell hashish to specific customers.

The police have registered a case against the accused and further investigation is underway.

SP Saddar appreciated the efforts of the police team and stated that strict and indiscriminate actions against drug dealers will continue.
