Rawalpindi (Asia Citizen News – Ejaz Shah): In a crackdown on illegal gambling, Ratta Amral Police arrested four individuals involved in betting on card games during a targeted operation.

According to police sources, the suspects were caught red-handed while gambling with playing cards. During the raid, police recovered cash amounting to Rs. 13,350, along with mobile phones and playing cards used in the activity.

A case has been registered against the accused, and all four individuals were taken into custody at the scene. Authorities stated that the suspects will be presented before the court with solid evidence.

Senior Superintendent of Police Rawal, Saad Arshad, emphasized that gambling is a root cause of various social evils and reaffirmed the department’s commitment to taking strict action against such activities.
