On the special directives of Assistant Commissioner Lalian Dr. Muhammad Anas Saeed, the Health Department has intensified its efforts to control mosquito-borne diseases in the city.
Under the supervision of Deputy District Health Officer Dr. Tanzeela Rafiq, a fogging campaign was carried out across Lalian using fogging machines to eliminate mosquitoes and prevent their breeding.
The operation was conducted by the Health Department team led by Sanitary Inspector Nasir Hussain, along with staff members Tahir Masih and Shoaib Durrani.
Fogging activities were conducted on various roads across the city, with special focus on Muhammad Siddique Lali Park and Ladies Park, aiming to ensure maximum coverage and effectiveness.
Officials stated that the purpose of the campaign is to eliminate mosquitoes in a timely manner, prevent their breeding, and protect citizens from diseases such as malaria.
The initiative has been appreciated by the local community, with citizens expressing gratitude to the Assistant Commissioner Lalian and the Health Department for their proactive efforts in safeguarding public health.
Residents acknowledged the importance of such preventive measures and thanked the authorities for taking timely action to ensure a healthier and safer environment in Lalian.
