A police encounter took place in the City Police Station area where one accused was injured by gunfire from his own accomplices. SHO City Police Station Sub-Inspector Kaleem Ullah was present on patrol along with his team when three unidentified suspects snatched a motorcycle at gunpoint from a المواطن on Jhang Road Bypass. Upon receiving the information, police chased the suspects, who opened fire on the police party. Police responded in self-defense, and during a search operation, one injured suspect was arrested and the snatched motorcycle was recovered. Senior police officers and a heavy police contingent reached the spot, while a search operation is ongoing in the area to arrest the fleeing suspects.
