Chiniot: In line with the vision of Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif, practical measures are being actively implemented to prevent road accidents across the district. As part of these efforts, the Punjab Police Driving School in Chiniot continues to provide structured and modern driving training courses to citizens in accordance with contemporary standards.
A certificate distribution ceremony was held at the Police Driving School upon the completion of the latest training session. District Police Officer (DPO) Dr. Naveed Atif, accompanied by DSP Khurram Shehzad, distributed certificates among citizens who successfully completed the driving course.
Speaking on the occasion, DPO Dr. Naveed Atif stated that the ISO-certified Police Driving School is providing training to the public with modern facilities and international standards. He highlighted that the institution offers a 28-day commercial driving course and a 14-day non-commercial driving course to ensure comprehensive skill development.
During the course, participants are educated about traffic laws through multimedia briefings, simulator-based learning, and practical on-road driving sessions. The DPO emphasized that the Police Driving School is playing a vital role in equipping citizens with quality, professional, and internationally aligned driving skills, contributing significantly to road safety and accident prevention in Chiniot.
