Serious allegations have emerged against a police official reportedly stationed at Glass Factory Chowk in Rawalpindi. According to claims made by local sources, the officer—identified as Irfan, commonly referred to as “Lifter”—is accused of engaging in misconduct, including allegedly taking bribes from members of the public while on duty.
The allegations further claim that the officer openly admits to accepting bribes and challenges anyone to take action against him. Such claims, if proven true, raise serious concerns about abuse of authority and damage to public trust in law enforcement institutions.
Citizens have appealed to the District Police Officer (DPO) Rawalpindi to take immediate notice of the matter and conduct a transparent inquiry. There has also been an appeal to the Chief Minister of Punjab to ensure accountability and protect the public from alleged misconduct.
The public awaits an official response from the concerned authorities regarding these allegations.
