Under the vision of Punjab Chief Minister Ms. Maryam Nawaz Sharif, the campaign for a Drug-Free Punjab is in full swing. Police in Chiniot have intensified operations against drug dealers.
Successful Raid by City Police
According to details, SHO City Police Station Sub-Inspector Kaleem Ullah, along with ASI Zawar Hussain and his team, conducted a raid in Mohalla Dilkhushab based on secret information. During the operation, a female drug dealer (S) was arrested.
Police recovered over 1 kg of Ice (methamphetamine) worth millions of rupees from her possession.
Case Registered
A case has been registered against the accused at the City Police Station under narcotics laws. Further investigation is currently underway.
Statement by DPO Abdullah Ahmed
District Police Officer (DPO) Abdullah Ahmed stated:
- “Special campaigns are being carried out across the district to protect our generations from the curse of drugs.”
- “We are ensuring quality investigations to bring drug dealers to justice and get them strict punishments.”
He also urged the public:
“If you witness drug dealing in your area, immediately report it on Police Helpline 15.”
Commitment to a Drug-Free Future
The Chiniot Police reiterated their commitment to eliminating drugs from society and emphasized that no leniency will be shown to drug traffickers.
