Gujrat Police Arrest Two Suspects, Recover Illegal Rifle, Ammunition, and Liquor

Gujrat: Under the supervision of DSP Sadar Circle Ghazi Asif Ali, Sadar Circle Police have intensified operations against drug peddlers and illegal arms holders.

During the latest action, SHO Industrial Estate Police Station Phase-II, Inspector Owais Latif, along with his team, arrested two suspects. From their possession, police recovered:

  • One illegal .308 bore rifle with bullets
  • Four bottles of liquor

The arrested suspects were identified as:

  1. Mujahid Ali s/o Tariq Mehmood, resident of Sheikh Qureshi
  2. Falak Sher s/o Abdul Rasheed, resident of Ghazi Chak

Police confirmed that strict actions will continue against criminals involved in drugs and illegal weapons across the district.
